Our original JDM “Elektrika” has been a player favorite for a long time, but we often get requests for:
A slightly smaller footprint (1590B size instead of 125B)
A silicon version, for those high-temperature situations where the germanium transistors aren’t functioning optimally.
Even MORE gain – the ass kicking, face melting levels that only silicon can deliver!
Updated for 2025, the Silicon Elektrika has a revised circuit, based on the iconic “Buzzaround” fuzz, with incredible sustain, a full EQ range that is useful at every setting, and has PLENTY of volume on tap.
The new design features a very low noise floor and an internal trim to allow you to adjust to full sustain, or a more gated/velcro fuzz style setting. The tone control ranges from a mid-focused buzzy fuzz, to a full range whallop in the knickers. Beware.
As with all our pedals - standard +9vDC operation, Lumberg Jacks, Alpha Pots, and a powder coated finish with UV Printed graphics.
